How long have you been snowmobiling?: I started riding when I was 14 and about 15 yrs ago I got back into it and more seriously! I would drive 8hr one way to sled for a few days then 8hr back home. 3 years ago I moved to BC and only have to travel a few hours but being closer to snow I pushed myself to find new groups to ride with. One of the hardest things for a female single rider. I have never had a spouse that sleds and this is the case for many women. But I never gave up now I’m 51 and I can say who you ride with can make or break you. You have to know when to move on! If you want to become more technical then you need to find a group that will push you and help you at the same time. When you do it is priceless. If I could sled everyday I would, 15yrs ago I was told I didn’t fit in. No one will want you in there group. You’re not good enough. You don’t drink, the list was endless!
Words and make or break you…I choose to not let them break me. And will continue to help other not give up as well!

Favorite thing about snowmobiling, favorite place to ride: I love to lead something new every time I go out being more technical every time. I love teaching others I truly find joy in watching others fall in love with this sport. But most of all the friends I make in this are life long.
